Manyavar is an Indian men's ethnic clothing brand launched in 1999 by entrepreneur Ravi Modi's Vedanta Fashion. Men's sherwani, kurta, and Indo-western apparel are available at Manvar. The company began with a 150-square-foot boutique in Kolkata and has now grown to over 570 stores. In 2001, Manyavar began offering individual Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs). However, due to decreased real estate costs that were practical due to the economic slump, a second specialty brand outlet shop was opened in 2008. Since then, the firm has established two locations per week on average. The brand built its 200th store in Delhi to 21,000 square feet in 2012.
